During the show, the 28 competing artists were revealed. There were also snippets of the competing songs, interviews, backstage moments and a guest appearance from Klavdia, who represented Greece at Eurovision 2025. Ellinik\u00f3s Telik\u00f3s 2025 participants Evangelia, Dinamiss and Rikki return to the selection.<\/p>\n<p>You can listen to snippets of the competing songs below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The 28 songs will compete in two semi-finals. In each semi-final, public voting will choose seven songs to advance to the final, which will consist of 14 songs. In the final, the winning song will be chosen by a public vote (50%) and two judging panels; one international (25%) and one Greek (25%).<\/p>\n<p>Klavdia represented Greece at Eurovision 2025 with \u201cAsteromata\u201d. She secured Greece\u2019s best result in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2013, by placing 6th in the final, scoring 231 points. Greece was 8th with the public and juries and received 12 points from the juries of Australia, Cyprus, Israel and Montenegro, and 12 points from the televoters of Albania, Cyprus and San Marino.<\/p>\n<p>Image source: ERT | Source: ERT<\/p>\n<p>Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest<\/p>\n<p> Greece debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974, when they were represented by Marinella and the song \u201cKrasi, thalassa kai t\u2019agori mou\u201d, which finished in 11th place with 7 points. Three years later, Greece earned their first top 5 finish with Paschalis, Marianna, Robert, and Bessy, who finished in 5th place with \u201cMathima solfege\u201d. In 2001, Greece achieved their first top 3 placing with Antique and the song \u201cI Would Die For You\u201d. The song became a European hit and charted across the continent. In 2005, Helena Paparizou returned to the Eurovision stage as a solo artist and brought Greece their first, and to date only, victory.
