Shane Mosley<\/a> has revealed who he had winning Manny Pacquiao<\/a>\u2018s recent showdown with Mario Barrios<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pacquiao made a sensational return to the ring earlier this month to challenge reigning WBC welterweight champion Barrios at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

After a competitive 12-round battle between the pair, the fight was declared a majority decision draw<\/a> with two out of the three judges scoring the contest 114-114 even, whilst the other judge had scored it 115-113 in favour of Barrios.<\/p>\n

Many fans and analysts believe that Pacquiao had done enough to be declared the winner<\/a> and become the oldest welterweight champion of all time, but it wasn\u2019t to be for the 46-year-old Filipino great who hadn\u2019t fought as a professional in four years prior to this.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fight Hub TV<\/a>, three-weight world champion Mosley \u2013 who lost a unanimous decision to Pacquiao in 2011 \u2013 admitted that whilst he believes the fight was close, he claims that former rival Pacquiao \u2018edged\u2019 it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought the fight was pretty close and you know, I thought that was a close fight but maybe Manny did edge it. I mean he [Barrios] was the champion and I don\u2019t know, I just think it was a good fight. I like both guys and I do like Manny. Manny is a great fighter and has a great mind and everything so he probably did win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pacquiao has already confirmed that he will be continuing with his boxing career despite drawing with Barrios, although it remains to be seen whether the duo will clash in a rematch next.<\/p>\n

Another option for the 46-year-old could be a potential showdown with WBA regular welterweight champion Rolando \u2018Rolly\u2019 Romero, who is said to be interested in facing the eight-division world champion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Shane Mosley has revealed who he had winning Manny Pacquiao\u2018s recent showdown with Mario Barrios.
