Police have confirmed that a 17-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl died when a blue Ford Fiesta left the road in a horror accident.<\/p>\n
The tragedy happened in Old Ferry Road, Iwade, around 8.30pm on Saturday, when the car crashed near a bend.<\/p>\n

Officers attended alongside paramedics and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, with the air ambulance also called in.<\/p>\n
The country road, which is used by drivers travelling between Sittingbourne and Medway, was closed for several hours between the junctions with Raspberry Hill Lane and Sheppey Way.<\/p>\n

Speaking to KentOnline, he said: \u201cIt is very dangerous. The parish council are looking at doing something in that corner there because it is dangerous.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat will be actively dealt with in the not-too-distant future.\u201d<\/p>\n
The councillor, who was with his wife Susan, added that they didn\u2019t know what had happened on Saturday night but heard the helicopter flying very low near the village.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
