We don’t want to declare something the cutest thing you’ll see<\/a> all year just yet, but this will certainly make the list. Baby Weila of the Hogle Zoo started a “Tongue out Tuesday. Teeth out Tuesday” tradition while she was playing on her ropes.<\/p>\n

This little baby just turned 6 months old and is already an absolute champion climber. She also loves to eat solid foods, especially yams and bananas, with those chompers.<\/p>\n

Commenter @sarafinajeter took the words out of our mouths, “I just can\u2019t get enough of these videos.” Weila is unquestionably a TikTok superstar and we want to watch her all the time. But @Sharon R topped it with, “Can I hold that baby?! Can I hold that baby?!” I hope Weila likes hugs cause we’re all getting in line. Finally, @Julia joked, “My Grandma Florence had the same hair!!!” Her hair is on point!<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time we’ve gotten a glimpse at this beauty who has many viral videos to her name already. Most recently, we got to watch her with a piece of straw in her mouth again playing on her ropes. It’s amazing how skilled she is at climbing on them. “She’s like a little farmer with her straw,” @Pamalamadingdong quipped. Many others compared the little baby to their own kids or siblings, “What I see when bro asks for food,” @christian201209 remarked.<\/p>\n

About the orangutans at the Hogle Zoo<\/p>\n

The Hogle Zoo<\/a> in Salt Lake City has a number of different primates<\/a>, including the Bornean orangutans, like Weila. She was hand-raised by staff but now lives with foster mom, Acara, who helps her with feeding and figuring out life as an orangutan.<\/p>\n

Baby orangutans are unique because they spend more time with their moms<\/a> than any other animals besides humans. This great ape will stay with their caregiver for over a decade. That’s why Acara is so important to Weila’s development. Luckily, this means we have many more years of getting to watch her grow up!<\/p>\n
