\n The latest review and report is based on review of Cygnet’s Acute and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) wards.\n<\/p>\n
\n The assessment report, dated December 18, ranked the hospital as ‘good’ for the categories: effective, caring, responsive and well-led, but deemed it to require improvement under the ‘safe’ category.\n<\/p>\n
\n The CQC report states: “During this assessment we spoke with staff including hospital managers, nurses and healthcare assistants.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We inspected the ward environments and clinic rooms at the hospital. We observed staff and patient interactions on these wards.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We reviewed patient care records, and patient prescription charts and reviewed minutes of various meetings, policies and procedures, data and documents relevant to the running of the service.\n<\/p>\n
\n “At our last assessment we rated this service as good overall. At this assessment the rating remains good.”\n<\/p>\n
