Headshot\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1468582_georgecudmoreheadshot_404986.jpg\"  loading=\"eager\" class=\"lazyloaded\" width=\"1450\" height=\"1456\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Cudmore, who has led the strategic and commercial direction of ITV\u2019s social video business, will lead a team of digital specialists at ITN Productions to kick off the digital arm of the company.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadcastnow.co.uk\/indies\/itn-70th-anniversary-ushers-in-major-expansion\/5209169.article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">revealed in September last year that ITN was launching a digital division<\/a>\u00a0and premium content label as part of its investment in growth, coinciding with\u00a0its 70th\u00a0anniversary celebrations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cudmore has headed up digital teams for TV broadcast and distribution businesses for\u00a0more than\u00a0a decade, including ITV, <a class=\"intextlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.broadcastnow.co.uk\/bbc\/1031.subject\" rel=\"intextlink_0 nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BBC<\/a> Studios, <a class=\"intextlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.broadcastnow.co.uk\/indies\/banijay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"intextlink_4 nofollow noopener\">Banijay<\/a> and Endemol Shine Group.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At ITNP, Cudmore will oversee a team that also includes Ruby Coote,\u00a0who joins ITNP as executive producer of content and development from Future,\u00a0and Georgia Foxwell,\u00a0who becomes\u00a0executive producer of audience and social, having previously served as\u00a0senior social media editor for\u00a0Global\u2019s\u00a0The\u00a0News Agents podcast.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rubina\u00a0Pabini, who was previously head of shortform at ITNP,\u00a0will also become head of digital content.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"picture\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rubina Pabani\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1468583_rubinapabani_474585.jpg\"  loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazyloaded\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2250\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Cudmore will focus on expanding ITNP\u2019s direct-to-consumer strategy, building creator partnerships and trialling formats,\u00a0as well as launching new digital content across genres including entertainment,\u00a0crime, royals and utilising ITN\u2019s archive.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He will work closely with ITN managing director of content Ian Rumsey and ITNP\u2019s creative director Georgina Mantle.<\/p>\n<p>The new division will build on the success of ITNP\u2019s\u00a0original shortform commissions for BBC Sounds, ITVX, Audible and others,\u00a0as well as its existing YouTube channels.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cudmore said: \u201cGiven the vibrancy of the digital economy, it feels like a pivotal moment to bring new and exciting content,\u00a0formats\u00a0and partnerships to market, leveraging ITN Productions\u2019 prowess and archive heritage to build on a great foundation in digital to date.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ITV Studios\u2019 director of digital channels at Zoo 55 George Cudmore is heading to ITN Productions to lead&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":356976,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[29],"tags":[96,391,56,54,55],"class_list":{"0":"post-356975","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tv","8":"tag-entertainment","9":"tag-tv","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom","12":"tag-unitedkingdom"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/356975","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=356975"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/356975\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/356976"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=356975"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=356975"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=356975"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
