Marine and Wildlife Rescue Facebook page<\/a> said: “The trapped deer in Lowestoft had sustained a foot injury and was sheltered within a storage container.\n<\/p>\n\n “We freed that deer and in fact didn’t manage to handle it as it charged out of the confined space while we attempted to contain it.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The deer was in good shape otherwise.”\n<\/p>\n
\n On Tuesday evening the charity responded to the Chinese water deer after it was spotted collapsed at the roadside on the A146 near Loddon.\n<\/p>\n
\n They said: “After a short assessment, the deer, that had a couple of grazes, was able to stand and made for the shelter of a hedge in the immediate area away from the main road.\n<\/p>\n
\n “This was a rather fortunate and pragmatic end to what could have been a very different outcome for both of the deer.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Deer tend to be highly stressed and it was quite a relief that both of these that we attended worked out positive.”\n<\/p>\n
