On Tuesday, Jan. 6, the actor, 53, appeared on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and shared that his son Samuel, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner<\/a>, recently asked him for some betting money.<\/p>\n \u201cMy son asked me like a month ago, [he] was like, \u2018Hey, um, can I get like 100 bucks to bet on sports?\u2019 \u201d Affleck recalled.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat?\u00a0\u2018My friends get $100, but if they lose it, then that\u2019s it,\u2019 \u201d the father of three said Samuel told him. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s a real standard, what discipline! Sorry, Dad.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the proud dad\u2019s comments about his son\u2019s betting request came not long after his son Samuel spotted a pair of $6,000 Dior Air Force 1s<\/a> that he wanted at a sneaker convention in March 2025.<\/p>\n He added his son only liked the shoes because they were expensive, to which Samuel objected, “No, they’re tough!
