Northampton<\/a> Saints centre Fraser Dingwall<\/a> has said that he is \u201cthankfully all ok\u201d after being stretchered off the field in his side\u2019s victory over Harlequins<\/a> on Saturday. <\/p>\n

The England<\/a> international sustained a head injury in an awkward tackle on Quins\u2019 Kieran Treadwell<\/a> in the closing minutes of the first half of Saints\u2019 66-21 victory at Franklin\u2019s Gardens, which lifted them to the top of the Gallagher PREM. <\/p>\n

The 26-year-old was wearing a neck brace as he was stretchered from the field of play, but Northampton director of rugby Phil Dowson<\/a> allayed any fears after the match, saying: \u201cFraser\u2019s good. Obviously he\u2019s a bit shaken up and he was unconscious for a bit, but the medics were around him fast and are looking after him so he\u2019s going through the right procedure.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have any timelines. We\u2019ll make sure he\u2019s OK and look after him tonight and make sure he\u2019s got people around him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dingwall took to social media on Monday to echo what his boss had said, and provide an update on his health. <\/p>\n

\u201cEnjoying rugby with this lot at the moment,\u201d he wrote on Instagram. \u201cThanks for all the well wishes after the weekend too! I just wanted a snooze after the festive period it seemed but thankfully all ok.\u201d <\/p>\n

Though there has been no confirmation yet, it is all but certain that the seven-cap international will miss the repeat of the Investec Champions Cup<\/a> final against Bordeaux-Begles at the Stade Chaban-Delmas on Sunday, and possibly the visit from the Scarlets<\/a> the following week. <\/p>\n

However, this update is a positive sign for England head coach Steve Borthwick<\/a>, with the national squad for the Six Nations<\/a> set to be named later this month. <\/p>\n
