{"id":359112,"date":"2026-01-08T15:00:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T15:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/359112\/"},"modified":"2026-01-08T15:00:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T15:00:12","slug":"have-your-say-on-uk-eu-artist-mobility-and-collaboration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/359112\/","title":{"rendered":"Have Your Say on UK-EU Artist Mobility and Collaboration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                &#13;<\/p>\n<p>                        <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The European Union flag next to the national flag of Great Britain.\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Arts-Infpoint-survey.png\"  \/><br \/>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n                    Your responses to the survey will help us\u00a0ensure the arts have a voice and stronger representation in future EU-UK discussions.\u00a0Image credit: Shutterstock.&#13;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/artsinfopointuk.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arts Infopoint UK<\/a>, an initiative supporting international artist mobility, is conducting a survey to understand the impact of Brexit on EU funding programmes, changes to artist mobility, and the relationship between UK and EU artists and arts organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Help ensure the arts have a voice in future UK-EU discussions<\/p>\n<p>Five years have passed since the UK left the EU, and associated programmes such as Creative Europe and Erasmus Plus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Research on the impacts of UK\u2013EU relations on the arts was carried out around the time of departure, and Arts Infopoint UK\u00a0are now looking for\u00a0up-to-date evidence to ensure voices from the arts sector across the UK and Europe are still being heard, especially on issues such as EU programmes, artist mobility, and the challenges and opportunities for UK\u2013European collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/musiciansunion.org.uk\/news\/eu-uk-summit-early-outcomes-and-what-it-means-for-mu-members\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">inaugural UK-EU Summit met in May 2025<\/a>, and will now meet annually to review the UK-EU relationship and identify areas of collaboration.
