Troy Williamson was on a run of three straight defeats up until September, but after a sudden turn in form the fan favourite is on the verge of a world title shot.<\/p>\n
Williamson lost out to both Caoimhin Agyarko and Ishmael Davis at the domestic super-welterweight level before a move up to the middleweight division and a trip across the pond resulted in a third consecutive defeat, coming up short against Jahi Tucker last April.<\/p>\n
