\n\tWant to have dinner with the cast of \u201cHeated Rivalry<\/a>\u201d after you film a walk-on role in Season 2<\/a>?<\/p>\n

\n\tHere\u2019s your chance. The dinner and role are being auctioned off during The NYC LGBT Community Center\u2019s Center Dinner<\/a> gala taking place in April.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe benefit will also honor the show\u2019s creators \u2014 writer-director-producer Jacob Tierney<\/a> and executive producer Brendan Brady \u2014 with the Cultural Impact Award.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTierney and Brady have elevated and centered queer characters as fully realized leads whose desires, conflicts and tenderness are treated with dignity,\u201d Center CEO Dr. Carla Smith said in a statement Thursday. \u201cBy championing our voices, they have brought queer joy and storytelling to the mainstream media and have created work that affirms and advances our community.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tCenter Dinner takes place on April 16 at Cipriani Wall Street and serves as the organization\u2019s largest annual fundraiser.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to creating\u00a0\u201cHeated Rivalry,\u201d\u00a0Tierney co-created, co-wrote and directed the acclaimed Crave\/Hulu television series\u00a0\u201cLetterkenny\u201d\u00a0and the first two seasons of its spinoff show\u00a0\u201cShoresy,\u201d winning nine Canadian Screen Awards in the process. Before his success as a showrunner in television, Tierney wrote and directed four feature films, including\u00a0\u201cTwist,\u201d which premiered at the Venice Film Festival,\u00a0the Genie-winning \u201cThe Trotsky\u201d starring Jay Baruchel and the cult hit\u00a0\u201cGood Neighbors\u201d starring Baruchel, Emily Hampshire and Scott Speedman.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrady is a Canadian Screen Award-nominated producer, writer and director based in Toronto. In 2023, Brady and Tierney formed Accent Aigu Entertainment. \u201cHeated Rivalry\u201d\u00a0is their first production for Canadian streamer Crave and has become a global sensation, selling to HBO Max in the U.S., Australia, Europe and Asia, as well as to Sky U.K. and New Zealand. Prior to starting Accent Aigu Entertainment, Brady served as a producer on a number of feature films such as\u00a0\u201cGiant Little Ones\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cFitting In,\u201d as well as \u201cLetterkenny\u201d\u00a0and \u201cShoresy.\u201d<\/p>\n
