Tiger Woods turned 50 on Dec. 30, but the party has carried over to the new year.<\/p>\n

Woods will host 300 guests at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida on\u00a0Jan. 14 at\u00a0RED: Celebrating Legacy, an exclusive event honoring Tiger Woods\u2019 philanthropic impact and three decades of empowering students through education.\u00a0Among the VIPs on the invite list who were asked to wear “a touch of (Tiger) red:” major winner Justin Thomas, caddie Joe LaCava, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Drive owner Arthur Blank,\u00a0who also is a member of the Strategic Sports Group that has poured $1.5 billion in the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe definitely could have made it bigger,\u201d Court told Front Office Sports<\/a>. \u201cBut we also wanted it to be intimate so that we could celebrate people that throughout the years have made tremendous commitments to Tiger\u2019s vision of what could be possible in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musician Jon Bon Jovi will perform at the party and the food will be themed off of the Champions Dinner menu served in the past by the five-time Masters champ.\u00a0Those meals have featured steak and chicken fajitas, stuffed jalapenos, sushi (including an \u201cAugusta roll\u201d), porterhouse steaks, crab cakes, and even cheeseburgers, French fries and milkshakes.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event will directly support the Foundation\u2019s next major chapter: a fundraising goal of $50 million that will support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs to new communities. There are currently two locations in Anaheim, California, and Philadelphia, with two more planned in Augusta, Georgia, and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere might be another market that we might announce that night,\u201d Court hinted.\u00a0This expansion will enable thousands of students from under-resourced communities each year to \u201caccess immersive learning experiences that ignite curiosity, build essential skills and unlock each student\u2019s unlimited potential.\u201d TGR Foundation announced that Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), a global professional services firm, will serve as the official presenting partner of the birthday bash and its 30th anniversary year-long campaign in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a lot more than a birthday party, and it\u2019s a lot more than an event,\u201d TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court tells\u00a0Front Office Sports. \u201cIt\u2019s an event that\u2019s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward, and what we\u2019re going to do as we expand and grow.\u201d<\/p>\n
