George Earthy has signed on loan from West Ham United until the end of season.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old made 40 appearances in all competitions for City during the 2024\/25 campaign, scoring three goals, including a memorable double against Middlesbrough.<\/p>\n
The attacking midfielder returns eight months after being voted the Robins\u2019 Young Player of the Season, having featured for both West Ham\u2019s Under-21s and the senior side this campaign.<\/p>\n
On returning to Ashton Gate, Earthy said: \u201cThe place feels like home and so I am really happy to be back.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am really looking forward to seeing the fans again. I have always been thinking about [my chant] since I left.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey were so good to me, it is special to be back, and I cannot wait to get back in front of them again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Having met with Head Coach Gerhard Struber, Earthy expressed his excitement to play under him. \u00a0<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cThe way the gaffer has implemented his style of play into the club is something I feel I can fit in to really well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earthy has made four Premier League appearances for the Hammers.<\/p>\n
On his new recruit, Struber added: \u201cHe is a very interesting player and did very well here last year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very happy to add a player of his quality to the squad\u201d<\/p>\n
The club can confirm that Earthy will wear the number 44 shirt.<\/p>\n
