Currently, season 4 of the animated Invincible adaptation is set to be released in March, and the show has already been renewed for a fifth season, which is currently in production.<\/p>\n
Based on some past comments from Kirkman, the animated series needs about “7 or 8 seasons” to fully cover the 144-issue comic series.<\/p>\n
Season 3 leaves off having covered approximately 65 issues of Kirman and illustrators\u00a0Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley’s run, leaving 59 more issues to adapt. By the time season 5 concludes, which is expected to arrive in late 2027, the show will have covered about 105+\u00a0issues or so, and will be entering the proverbial “home stretch.”<\/p>\n
