Ryan Rickelton hit his second century of the season as MI Cape Town beat Joburg Super Kings by 35 runs<\/a> in the SA20.<\/p>\n

Opener Rickelton crashed 113 not out off 60 balls as Cape Town posted 234-3 after winning the toss.<\/p>\n

Rickelton, who hit eight fours and nine sixes, also made 113 in the season opener and now has the tournament’s joint third-highest score twice. <\/p>\n

He put on 129 with Rassie van der Dussen (65 off 32) and then dominated partnerships with Nicholas Pooran (14) and Karim Janat (20 not out).<\/p>\n

Super Kings lost Michael Pepper in the third over and slipped to 35-3 after 4.5 overs.<\/p>\n

A partnership of 66 between James Vince (77) and Dian Forrester gave them some hope, before the latter, who finished 80 not out, put on 50 with Donovan Ferreira. <\/p>\n

However, they were always behind the required run-rate and needed 76 from the final three overs and fell well short despite Forrester’s hitting. <\/p>\n

In Saturday’s early game Pretoria Capitals beat Paarl Royals by 21 runs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Capitals opted to bat first after winning the toss and were 74-6 but West Indies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford made 42 not out to help them to 138-9. <\/p>\n

The Royals’ chase never really got going. They were 38-3 and, despite Rubin Hermann making 35 and David Miller adding 45, they finished 117-6.<\/p>\n

At the end of Saturday, Super Kings sit second in the table behind Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
