That project was first reported on back in 2020, then stuck in development for years and then seemingly paused last year (along with all Sony\u2019s Marvel films) after \u201cKraven the Hunter\u201d bombed.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DanielRPK\" rel=\"nofollow\">DanielRPK<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbookmovie.com\/spider_man\/spider_woman\/rumor-sony-scraps-olivia-wildes-spider-woman-movie-now-open-to-sharing-more-characters-with-marvel-studios-a225903\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CBM<\/a>) is reporting that film has been scrapped altogether and indicates Sony is now more open to sharing its characters with Marvel Studios \u2013 meaning some Spider-Man related characters that would\u2019ve been Sony films may show up in future \u201cSpider-Man\u201d and Marvel films.<\/p>\n<p>The scooper also indicates that Marvel Studios is reportedly eyeing \u201cStranger Things\u201d star Joe Keery for a role in the MCU, though no word on what that part might be.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile scooper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/TmZxpdPdQDw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">John Campea<\/a> is claiming that the upcoming \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d won\u2019t have an explanation as to why Victor Von Doom looks like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), that particular issue reportedly won\u2019t be addressed until \u201cAvengers: Secret Wars\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d is currently screening a fourth teaser trailer in cinemas with \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash,\u201d that clip is expected to go online on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Previous article<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darkhorizons.com\/nolans-the-odyssey-already-screened\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nolan\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d Already Screened?<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Netflix Another day and several more Marvel rumors have cropped up.
