Many Chelsea fans are skeptical about the appointment of Liam Rosenior as manager.<\/p>\n

Rosenior<\/a> is still a young coach who had only managed in the Championship before he took over at Chelsea\u2019s<\/a> sister club Strasbourg in 2024.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca\u2019s<\/a> CV was also quite similar to Rosenior\u2019s before his move to Chelsea, but the Italian improved it significantly during his time at Stamford Bridge<\/a> after capturing both the Club World Cup<\/a> and Conference League<\/a> trophies.<\/p>\n

It is one reason why loads of Chelsea supporters have questioned the decision to hire Rosenior as a replacement for Maresca.<\/p>\n

Considering everything, the concerns that Chelsea fans have about Rosenior are warranted. However, it looks like the 41-year-old is already starting to convince some supporters.<\/p>\n

Rosenior guided Chelsea to an impressive 5-1 win against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup<\/a> over the weekend, and Blues fans recognised his role in the victory.<\/p>\n

As per football.london<\/a> journalist Bobby Vincent, after the game, Chelsea\u2019s travelling supporters started to chant \u201cLiam, Liam, Liam\u201d.<\/p>\n

There is no doubt that hearing that would have left Rosenior on cloud nine. After just 90 minutes of football, the Englishman had fans of one of the biggest clubs in the world singing his name.<\/p>\n

What really would have delighted him, though, was Chelsea\u2019s performance. Rosenior was more than pleased with Jorrel Hato<\/a>, who scored the team\u2019s opener, and his teammates after they managed to put five past Nathan Jones\u2019 side.<\/p>\n

While the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge is often criticised, Chelsea\u2019s away support is considered to be quite good. <\/p>\n

Rosenior, though, thinks both Chelsea\u2019s home and away fans are capable of really getting behind the team, having played at the Bridge himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019ve got Stamford Bridge behind you \u2014 and I\u2019ve been there as a player \u2014 it\u2019s so difficult to play there for the opposition,\u201d the former Strasbourg boss was quoted as saying by Chelsea\u2019s official club website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe away support of this club is also incredible, I want to create really strong connections with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, football supporters can turn very quickly. Rosenior will need to continue picking up wins to keep Chelsea fans onside.<\/p>\n
