A massively underrated heist film<\/a> with two famous Hollywood A-listers is broadcasting on television tonight.<\/p>\n

The 1999 action movie is packed with slick sequences and sultry romance, with the lead pair\u2019s electric chemistry being lauded as a highlight of the film.<\/p>\n

Directed by Jon Amiel with a screenplay by Ronald Bass, Entrapment is a gripping action thriller<\/a> with romance at its heart.<\/p>\n

The Sean Connery<\/a>-Catherine Zeta-Jones starrer will air on Film4 this evening, January 12, at 6.45pm.<\/p>\n

Connery and Zeta-Jones are joined by Will Patton, Ving Rhames and Maury Chaykin to round out an impressive supportive cast.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s principal photography took place across multiple locations in Malaysia and Britain, and it garnered a staggering $212 million at the global box office against a production budget of $66 million.<\/p>\n

The official plot reads: \u201cInsurance investigator Virginia “Gin” Baker (Catherine Zeta-Jones), looking into a stolen Rembrandt painting, suspects that accomplished thief Robert “Mac” MacDougal (Sean Connery<\/a>) is responsible. She decides to go undercover and help Mac steal an ancient artifact. When a suspicious Mac confronts Gin about her real intentions, she claims that she is, in fact, a thief and that the insurance job is a cover. To prove it, she proposes a new target that could net them $8 billion.\u201d<\/p>\n

The movie garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences, however viewers were blown away by Connery and Zeta-Jones\u2019 chemistry, considered to be the beating heart of this heist flick.<\/p>\n

While one critic said of the film: \u201cThe kind of slick, sleek entertainment that shows audiences a good time mostly because of an elaborately tricky plot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cWith a dazzling performance, Catherine Zeta-Jones dominates the picture with absolute assurance and a bewitching smile.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third reviewer wrote: \u201cGets by well enough on style and star chemistry and the basic allure of watching a tightly-planned caper unfold.\u201d<\/p>\n

Audiences were equally taken by the lead duo, with one fan writing: \u201cA very underrated heist film that has good acting and chemistry between Catherine Zeta Jones and Sean Connery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another impressed audience member said: \u201cI’m not sure what the people that rated this movie so low were expecting exactly, but this is one of my favorite movies. If you love bank heist genres, then this movie does not disappoint. It’s action packed with an Oscar winning all star cast.\u201d<\/p>\n

While one happy fan added: \u201cLovely heist movie with a cool vibe between Catherine Z and Sean. It’s one of those movies that you enjoy more every time you see it. whenever it’s on TV you stop 2 watch. Sean is so debonair and Cat Z is at the height of her beauty. nice movie twists, turns, and surprises!\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet another glowing audience review said: \u201cAmazing movie. Highly underrated. Just watched it again after almost 20 years and it still holds its value and would hold its own against most of the garbage from the past 2 decades. I wish they still made them like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
