Rangers are increasingly confident they will land Danish star Andreas Skov Olsen<\/a> on loan – and believe they CAN strike a deal to make it permanent.<\/p>\n Talks with the winger\u2019s German club Wolfsburg have progressed over the last 24 hours<\/a> and Ibrox bosses have even moved on to discussing personal terms that will cover an initial six-month loan. But there is also growing optimism in the Gers<\/a> camp that their bold swoop for the 26-year-old could end up with Skov Olsen remaining in Glasgow beyond the current campaign.<\/p>\n The fine details have still to be ironed out with the Bundesliga outfit but Rangers are confident they won\u2019t have to break the bank for the loan fee. And they also think it will be possible to negotiate an option to buy that involves a sum a good chunk cheaper than the \u00a312million Wolfsburg spent when they signed the Denmark international from Club Brugge a year ago.<\/p>\n That news will delight a fanbase who have been left thrilled by the prospect of the club\u2019s long-term target finally checking in at Ibrox and joining up with new boss Danny Rohl\u2019s<\/a> resurgent title chasers.<\/p>\n Skov Olsen first appeared on Rangers\u2019 transfer watchlist during his time at Bologna in 2022 while Gio van Bronckhorst was in charge.<\/p>\n The Dutchman missed out when the ex-Nordsjaelland kid opted to make his move to Belgium.
