That move now looks to potentially make more sense with the news that<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-super-league-format-for-2026-confirmed-with-two-clubs-to-be-voted-in-106877\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Super League will expand to 14 teams<\/a> with the Knights among those fancied to either challenge on terms of IMG ranking or via the application process.<\/p>\n<p>Vaughan had confirmed earlier in the year that there was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-warrington-wolves-off-contract-forward-teases-new-deal-amid-speculation-105017\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">contract offer on the table for him at Warrington<\/a> but now he\u2019s set to leave, it\u2019s meant Sam Burgess\u2019 side have headed back to the market.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s taken them to the NRL and they\u2019re reportedly on the hunt for Dolphins prop Josh Kerr who was named to Queensland\u2019s extended Origin squad only this year, highlighting his quality.<\/p>\n<p>Warrington Wolves in chase for Josh Kerr<\/p>\n<p>Kerr is off-contract at the end of the year and is looking to secure a new deal.
