Scott Robertson is at the heart of the All Blacks players\u2019 discontent with Ardie Savea among those to be reportedly unimpressed with the set-up.<\/p>\n
Following the conclusion of another underwhelming season for the national team, an internal review was conducted by New Zealand Rugby.<\/p>\n
This process happens after every campaign but its findings this time around have put the current coaching regime, as well as the governing body, under serious pressure.<\/p>\n
The New Zealand Herald<\/a> reported last month reported that there were \u201cwidespread internal frustrations\u201d within the All Blacks<\/a>, but the newspaper\u2019s latest revelations paint an even more concerning picture.<\/p>\n Finger pointed at Robertson and Hansen<\/p>\n Players have reportedly pointed the finger at Robertson<\/a> and his assistant Scott Hansen, who are \u201cat the centre\u201d of their unhappiness.<\/p>\n The Herald have also claimed the \u201cmost critical feedback\u201d came from senior players with \u201cfrustrations building throughout Scott Robertson\u2019s tenure\u201d.<\/p>\n That is not NZR\u2019s only worry, however, with their star individual, Savea<\/a>, thought to be \u201cseriously unhappy\u201d and considering his future in New Zealand if changes aren\u2019t made.<\/p>\n The back-rower is supposedly looking at potentially staying at Japanese side Kobelco Kobe Steelers beyond the 2026 campaign or even moving to Europe.<\/p>\n Savea is contracted with the governing body until the end of 2027, but there are suggestions that he may look to exit before the next Rugby World Cup in Australia.<\/p>\n Leinster<\/a> is a destination which has been floated by the Herald, with the 32-year-old possibly hoping to follow in the footsteps of Jordie Barrett and Rieko Ioane by signing for the Irish giants.<\/p>\n Unlike those two players, who moved there on short-term deals as part of their sabbaticals, Savea\u2019s potential move may be for longer unless there are major All Blacks coaching changes.<\/p>\n
