Actor John Stamos has debuted a bold new hair look on Instagram on January 13.<\/p>\n

In a series of photos showing the process, he debuted a streaky blonde look.<\/p>\n

“Trust the process,” he captioned the post.<\/p>\n

John Stamos<\/a>, is that really you? The Full House and ER star has almost always rocked a deep, dark brunette look\u2014but after years of rocking his signature look, he’s finally decided it’s time for a change. The actor debuted a fresh ‘do on Instagram<\/a> on January 13.<\/p>\n

In a carousel, he showed off the entire transformation process with selfies that showed him getting his hair bleached. “Trust the process,” he captioned the post.<\/p>\n

The final slides revealed the finished look: striking bright blonde highlights that stand out sharply against his brown hair.<\/p>\n

“Trust the process,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

Stamos’s new look is courtesy of his longtime stylist,\u00a0Riawna Capri. Stamos has relied on Capri for his perfect locks for years\u2014in fact, during the pandemic, she even guided him through a virtual haircut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although Stamos may be remembered as something of a hair heartthrob, he doesn’t look back on all of his hair eras fondly. “From \u201983 till about two years ago I regret most of my hair and clothing,” he told Refinery29<\/a> in 2012. “The young kids [that are famous today] know how to dress and handle themselves. I was just a dopey kid from Orange County.” After all, he’s come a long way since the Full House mullet!<\/p>\n

He echoed similar thoughts speaking to InStyle<\/a> a few years ago: \u201cI was a quirky, gawky teenager that, you know, my nose was big and I didn’t know how to be anything else and girls didn’t dig it and guys thought I was stupid.”<\/p>\n

He can certainly pull off any look now\u2014including a strong blonde streak.<\/p>\n
