EastEnders\u2019 Nicola Mitchell suggests she go into business with George Knight next week \u2013 but is met with a firm refusal, after he discovers Teddy\u2019s sinister warning. Wannabe restauranteur George has recently expressed an interest in buying Walford East, which has been vacant since it was shut down by HMRC last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But he is left disappointed when his offer to buy the business is declined. Sensing his sadness, the mother of his unborn child Nicola offers to invest in the eatery \u2013 but George turns her down her offer\u2026<\/p>\n

“Nicola and George may be exes, but they\u2019re bound together by their baby<\/a>, so she wants to help him secure his future in any way she can,” explains our Albert Square source. “However, George isn\u2019t so sure that having Nicola invest in his business is a good idea \u2013 even if it costs him his dream!”<\/p>\n

George\u2019s distrust of Nicola begins at the start of the week, when optimistic Honey attempts to play matchmaker between the two former flames.<\/p>\n

However, when he notices his wife meddling, Billy grows worried for George. Viewers will remember that before Teddy began a life sentence in prison<\/a> for a crime he didn\u2019t commit, he told Billy that Nicola was trouble and George should be careful.<\/p>\n

Remembering Teddy\u2019s bold final words<\/a>, Billy decides that he needs to get involved, so wastes no time in passing on this ominous message to George. <\/p>\n

“Teddy cautioned Billy that Nicola was poisonous and asked him to make sure that George watches his back around her,” our insider reminds us. “Seeing the possibility of George and Nicola getting back together is on the table, Billy feels that it\u2019s his duty to warn his pal.”<\/p>\n

Nicola and George were seen together in The Vic during the New Year\u2019s Day\u2019s flashforward episode<\/a> \u2013 so will George heed Teddy\u2019s warning about his villainous ex-wife, or will he get caught up in Nicola\u2019s web of manipulation?<\/p>\n

This week, Nicola faced huge danger when Ravi realised that she and Harry spiked his drink with hallucinatory drugs, which in turn led to him accidentally attacking his son Nugget<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ravi threatened Nicola and Harry<\/a> with a baseball bat, and only Priya\u2019s arrival stopped him<\/a> from carrying out a brutal act of violence.<\/p>\n

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.<\/p>\n
