Tesseract
Glen Powell is reportedly in negotiations to star in \u201cTesseract,\u201d a new sci-fi feature from \u201cMr. Robot\u201d creator Sam Esmail. Esmail, Scott Stuber, Nick Nesbitt and Chad Hamilton will produce with Powell and Dan Cohen in negotiations to join them.<\/p>\n

Once a deal closes for Powell, the project will reportedly be a high priority for the studio. Powell\u2019s next jobs are a second season of \u201cChad Powers\u201d and an untitled Judd Apatow comedy at Universal. [Source: Deadline<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Criterion
Kleber Mendon\u00e7a Filho\u2019s \u201cThe Secret Agent,\u201d Joachim Trier\u2019s \u201cSentimental Value,\u201d Jafar Panahi\u2019s \u201cIt Was Just an Accident\u201d are all being added to the Criterion Collection. Three of the most acclaimed films of 2025, all were titles under indie distributor Neon and all are expected to be Oscar contenders.<\/p>\n

Previous Neon-Criterion collaborations include \u201cParasite,\u201d \u201cAnora,\u201d \u201cThe Worst Person in the World,\u201d \u201cPortrait of a Lady on Fire,\u201d \u201cTriangle of Sadness,\u201d \u201cPerfect Days,\u201d and the re-release of \u201cMemories of Murder\u201d. Peacock has premiered the trailer for the second season of its comedy series \u201cTed\u201d which returns on March 5th. It\u2019s 1994, and the senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett.<\/p>\n

Dunesday
Robert Downey Jr. appeared alongside Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet at a \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d Q&A this week where the former said they\u2019ve given their approval for the fan-driven \u2018Dunesday\u2019 moniker to describe December 18th \u2013 the day both \u201cDune: Part Three\u201d and \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d open.<\/p>\n

At a #MartySupreme<\/a> Q&A last night, Robert Downey Jr. and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet officially coined December 18th to be “Dunesday.” <\/p>\n
