Jimmy Kimmel skewered President Donald Trump for shamelessly accepting a Nobel Peace Prize that he didn\u2019t win.<\/p>\n

In his monologue Thursday, Kimmel explained how Mar\u00eda Machado, the Venezuelan opposition leader who won the prize in 2025, presented it<\/a> to Trump in a golden frame. Kimmel argued that Machado\u2019s reasons for the gift had little to do with Trump\u2019s leadership skills.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter disappearing their president<\/a>, Trump refused to support Machado as the new leader of Venezuela,\u201d Kimmel explained. \u201cAnd some in his circle believe it\u2019s because she didn\u2019t give him her Nobel Prize.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo then she said, \u2018Oh wait, you know what? I will give it to him,\u2019\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n

Kimmel joked, \u201cRarely does a president yank a Nobel Prize off of someone\u2019s neck. He\u2019s back in the Oval Office sucking on it like a pacifier.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at how happy he is,\u201d Kimmel said about Trump. \u201cHave you ever seen anyone happier than that for winning this prize he didn\u2019t even win?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel made fun of the less impressive gift Trump gave Machado in return:<\/p>\n

\u201cMachado didn\u2019t leave empty-handed,\u201c Kimmel said. \u201dShe was seen leaving the White House with a gift bag. \u2019Thanks for the Nobel Prize. Here\u2019s a Make America Great Again mug. We appreciate you stopping by.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel noted that handing Trump awards may be \u201cthe only way to get him to do anything.\u201d This gave the late-night host an idea:<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. President, I have an offer I think you\u2019re going to find difficult to refuse,\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n

He explained, \u201cIf, and only if, you agree to pull ICE out of Minneapolis<\/a> and put them back at the borders where they belong, I am prepared to offer you one of the following trophies that I have been honored with over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel offered Trump some real trophies of his, like his 1999 Emmy for Best Game Show Host. <\/p>\n

Kimmel also offered some fake trophies, like his 2015 Soul Train Award for \u201cWhite Person of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n
