{"id":373477,"date":"2026-01-16T15:05:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T15:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/373477\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T15:05:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T15:05:07","slug":"tom-pidcock-unveils-spring-schedule-targeting-strade-bianche-milan-san-remo-and-liege-bastogne-liege","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/373477\/","title":{"rendered":"Tom Pidcock unveils spring schedule targeting Strade Bianche, Milan-San Remo, and Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"db5f2a07-816a-4ab7-9e02-c26ff2e71b01\">Pinarello-Q36.5 have unveiled the spring schedule of their star rider, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/tom-pidcock\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/tom-pidcock\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Pidcock<\/a>, with the British racer targeting a series of WorldTour Classics in March and April, including the Monuments of Milan-San Remo and <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/liege-bastogne-liege\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/liege-bastogne-liege\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Pidcock kicked off his road racing season at the AlUla Tour, where he took two stage wins en route to an overall victory, before heading to the Vuelta a Andaluc\u00eda and the spring Classics.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"db5f2a07-816a-4ab7-9e02-c26ff2e71b01-2\">This time around, he&#8217;ll be based in Spain for his season opener, making his debut at the Vuelta a Murcia on February 13-14 before hitting the part-gravel race, the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/clasica-jaen-paraiso-interior\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/clasica-jaen-paraiso-interior\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cl\u00e1sica Ja\u00e9n<\/a>, on February 16.<\/p>\n<p>You may like<\/p>\n<p>Pidcock will then race the Vuelta a Andaluc\u00eda (February 18-22) once again before heading north for the Belgian season opener at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on February 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">The one-day racing continues in March as Pidcock returns to Strade Bianche (March 7), the race he won in 2023 and finished second last year. Two more Italian races follow, with Milano-Torino (March 18) and <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/milan-san-remo\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/milan-san-remo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Milan-San Remo<\/a> (March 21). He&#8217;ll also race the Volta a Catalunya on March 23-29 ahead of the final section of his spring campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Pidcock will round out his spring racing block with a trip to Belgium and the Ardennes Classics. A return to De Brabantse Pijl (April 17), which he won in 2021, will be followed by a trip to another race he&#8217;s won before, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/amstel-gold-race\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/amstel-gold-race\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amstel Gold Race<\/a> (April 19). The Ardennes triple is completed by appearances at La Fl\u00e8che Wallonne (April 22) and Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge (April 26).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">&#8220;My schedule stays quite similar to previous years,&#8221; Pidcock said. &#8220;But adding in some new races to keep things fresh.
