Eight counties will soar above 30C and the majority of England will bask in the high 20s, according to <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Weather maps\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/weather-maps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">weather maps<\/a> by WXCharts.<\/p>\n<p><a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"UK weather maps turn volcanic red and show date temperatures rocket back to 32C\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2081902\/uk-weather-maps-volcanic-exact-date-temperatures-32\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The hottest temperatures<\/a> will be felt in the southeast on Friday, July 18, with a peak of 31C forecast for parts of Norfolk. Seven counties will bask in 30C at 6pm in the evening, including Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. Newcastle has been forecast a pleasant 25C, London and Kent a toasty 29C, and East and North Yorkshire could reach highs of 29C.<\/p>\n<p>However, the west coast will be much cooler, particularly in the north, with sub 20C temperatures forecast in Cumbria. <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Cornwall\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/cornwall\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Cornwall<\/a> and Devon will also be slightly cooler with the coastal breeze, with temperatures predicted to sit between 20C and 22C.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/met-office\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Met Office<\/a> forecast for Norfolk on Friday said the high temperatures could be accompanied by humidity.<\/p>\n<p data-mce-linkchecker-status=\"valid\">It said: &#8220;Dry and bright on Friday but very warm and humid with showers or heavy rain developing overnight into Saturday.
