Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters at the end of this year. The sequel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/avengers-secret-wars\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a>, follows in 2027.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/marvel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marvel<\/a> has now released four Doomsday teaser trailers. The first teaser reveals that Chris Evans\u2019 Steve Rogers is returning to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/mcu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MCU<\/a>, while the second focuses on Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Thor and the third on a handful of X-Men characters. The fourth teaser then puts the spotlight on Letitia Wright\u2019s Black Panther\/Shuri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach\u2019s Ben Grimm\/The Thing, among others.<\/p>\n<p>What did Joe Russo say about Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the Empire podcast, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/avengers-doomsday-teasers-hit-1-billion-views-1236475167\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Joe Russo cryptically discussed how the Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers are actually the beginning of the Doomsday event for MCU fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach one of those trailers is narrative information,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s all part of a larger story. And so, I would argue that\u00a0Doomsday\u00a0has already started for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not entirely clear what Joe Russo means by this at this time. Having said that, the Russos made a similar comment before. Following the release of the fourth Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer, the official Russo Brothers Instagram said, \u201cWhat you\u2019ve been watching for the last four weeks\u2026 are not teasers. Or trailers. They are stories. They are clues\u2026Pay attention. #DoomsdayHasBegun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some MCU fans believe they\u2019ve cracked a secret code hidden within the four Doomsday trailers that relates to specific timestamps in Avengers: Endgame. Whether this was intentionally done by Marvel or just a coincidence remains unclear at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
