Emily Atack <\/a>has been turning heads with her stunning holiday photos from a trip to Cape Town, South Africa, alongside her makeup artist pal, following her impressive transformation over the festive season.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 36 year old actress, who recently faced cruel fan speculation about weight loss after showcasing a slimmer figure, shared a series of snaps from her sunny getaway.<\/a> In one striking mirror selfie, Emily is seen donning a black dress and a patterned scarf draped over her shoulders, her blonde locks elegantly swept back into a chic bun. Her makeup, flawlessly applied, accentuated her beautiful features.<\/p>\n

In another shot, she’s seen casually strolling in a white mini dress paired with trendy Chloe sandals and a monochrome Saint Laurent handbag.<\/a> Emily’s travel companion is her friend Lydia Barnes, who has previously worked as her makeup artist and stylist, known for crafting her signature soft glam looks.<\/p>\n

One photo shows Emily warmly embracing Lydia, with breathtaking views serving as their backdrop. Earlier this week, Emily shared more glimpses of her holiday, including shots of her in a cropped floral shirt and denim shorts.<\/a> She flaunted her midriff in the green shirt, which was knotted at the front, and showed off her legs in blue denim shorts, cinched at the waist with a chunky black belt. She opted for comfort with a pair of sliders.<\/p>\n

The Inbetweeners star accessorised with a black Gucci handbag and a pair of sunglasses. In a playful mirror selfie, Emily can be seen sticking out her tongue while posing in her bedroom.<\/a> Before stepping out in Cape Town, Emily shared some updates on her social media. In her Stories posted a few hours earlier, Emily announced that she was flying to South Africa<\/a> for ‘a few laughs with Marks & Spencers’, sharing a snap of herself in the business class section of the plane.<\/p>\n

This comes after fans questioned if the star – who welcomed a son named Barney with fianc\u00e9 Alistair Garner 19 months ago – took weight loss injections. Having championed a natural figure, some fans have questioned if the star may have turned to weight loss injections such as Ozempic or Mounjaro to slim down.<\/p>\n

One wrote online: “See a lot of these ‘body positive’ celebs have changed their tune since weight loss jabs came out.” Another added: “These celebs have fooled you, now they are all taking injections and are proud to show us how well they have done.” While one commented: “And the innovation is called Ozempic, I presume?”<\/p>\n

But most were all praise of the star’s looks. One wrote: “She looks lovely either way. She\u2019s very lucky.” Another backed this thought up and write: “She’s a beautiful woman regardless of weight. Her newly revealed cheekbones are fabulous! Good for you Emily.”<\/p>\n

The star first sparked concern amongst fans when she posted this photo over Christmas(Image: )<\/p>\n

But those close to the star have suggested she will remain silent over the speculation, with the Daily Mail <\/a>quoting a friend telling them: “She is acutely aware of what is her business and what is not.” The Mirror <\/a>has contacted a representative of Emily for comment.<\/p>\n

Since bursting into the spotlight in 2008 as Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the Channel 4 <\/a>comedy The Inbetweeners, Emily has frequently discussed her unease over having her figure analysed. Having taken on the role as a teen, Emily played Charlotte simply as a teenage school girl, and has expressed discomfort over the way she was sexualised as ‘Big Jugs’ on the show and by its fans.<\/p>\n

She has also taken aim at social media trolls who have criticised her appearance online, while defending herself as a size 10 – 14. The star won respect in 2018 when she appeared as a contestant on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity <\/a>… Get Me Out Of Here! where she was able to give viewers an insight into the real her, and prove herself as more than a sex symbol.<\/p>\n
