Wales scrum-half Tomos Williams has stunned commentators once again after producing an outrageous piece of skill to score a stunning try for Gloucester against Toulon in the Champions Cup.<\/p>\n
The Cherry and Whites ultimately fell to a disappointing 31-14 home defeat which ended their European campaign, but Williams provided a moment of magic that lit up Kingsholm and briefly gave his side hope against the French heavyweights.<\/p>\n
With Gloucester trailing 24-7 in the second half, Lewis Ludlow hacked a hopeful kick through towards the Toulon tryline. It looked a lost cause, with Williams seemingly beaten to the ball and surrounded by four defenders.<\/p>\n
However, Toulon replacement Jeremy Sinzelle botched his attempt to ground the ball over his own line, allowing the Wales international to pounce.<\/p>\n
Still under pressure, Williams then produced an astonishing acrobatic finish, flicking the ball over his shoulder and grounding it one-handed for an opportunistic try that reduced the deficit to 24-12.<\/p>\n
The effort left the commentary team in disbelief.<\/p>\n

Former England winger Matt Banahan was equally impressed by the skill involved.<\/p>\n

The try proved to be little more than a consolation as Toulon, who had earlier scored through Gael Drean and Mathis Ferte before Lewis Ludlam crossed, remained in control and sealed a bonus-point victory with Drean\u2019s second score in the final minute.<\/p>\n
But for Williams, it was another reminder of the remarkable skillset that has made him one of the most eye-catching scrum-halves in the game \u2013 and one Saracens fans are already eagerly anticipating ahead of his move to north London next season.<\/p>\n
It is not the first time this campaign that the 30-year-old has left pundits and supporters open-mouthed.<\/p>\n
