A tennis club is set to become Kent\u2019s newest David Lloyd health club.<\/p>\n
Bosses at the popular gym chain have revealed they have acquired Avenue Tennis Club in Gillingham and plan to redevelop the site later this year.<\/p>\n

The centre in Fetherby Road offers a wide range of racquets, fitness, spa and wellness facilities, but David Lloyd says it will \u201ctake them to the next level\u201d.<\/p>\n
It plans to incorporate the latest workout tech in the gym, professional tennis and swim coaching for children, an extensive range of group exercise classes and luxury spa retreat facilities.<\/p>\n
Bosses hope that the proposals will enhance the offerings at the club for existing and new members.<\/p>\n
Property director of David Lloyd Clubs, Stuart Caswell, said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Avenue Tennis and all its members to David Lloyd Clubs.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is already a thriving community with a fantastic range of facilities, but we look forward to investing further into the club, helping residents in Gillingham and the surrounding area to enjoy happier, healthier lives.<\/p>\n
