Andy adds he flew into a rage when he saw one of Bear\u2019s callouts.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw him online, being a p***k to people and one day I woke up, ADHD took over, and I did a video and I said, \u2018I\u2019ll knock you out \u2013 if you want to fight people, fight me\u2019,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen we went back and forth and he accepted, the promoters started reaching out and now it\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has boxed before. He is the favourite to win. But I have six months to train, and I\u2019m going to break him up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Andy grew up in north inner-city Dublin and says the tough upbringing will stand him in good stead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was skinny, but I was always in fights. I\u2019m from Dorset Street and Sheriff Street in the north inner city, so I\u2019ve been scrapping all my life,\u201d he points out.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m 37 now, I don\u2019t have any fitness. I couldn\u2019t run to the end of the road right now. But I found a boxing gym today and I have six months to get in shape.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve lost 20 kilos in weight, so I\u2019m ready to take him on and smash him up.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m out here in Dubai until February, but when I get back. I\u2019ve had about seven different coaches in the UK reach out to me and offer me free boxing training, mainly because they don\u2019t like him.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair have now been lined up to fight in York Hall in London on July 25.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe did a video. He said \u2018everyone compares me to Mike Tyson\u2019,\u201d says Andy. \u201cThen I did a bit of a more realistic video and I said \u2018I respect the boxing world and the boxing community\u2019, so I don\u2019t even compare myself to a local amateur because I\u2019m not, I\u2019m not a boxer. But I\u2019m willing to learn.\u201d<\/p>\n
Andy says he has his reasons why he chose Bear for his first bout.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019 just don\u2019t like him. I\u2019m not an angry person, I\u2019m not a violent person or anything like that,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe did a video calling some young lads out to fight him and it just pissed me off, and I said \u2018I\u2019ll fight you\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m older than him, I\u2019m not in as good shape as him, but here we go, I\u2019m going to do it for Ireland. I have one thing he doesn\u2019t have, I have an Irish heart. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe seems very confident, he keeps firing abuse at me. He called me \u2018Mr Blobby\u2019, so he thinks he\u2019s going to knock me out in the first round, but we\u2019ll see about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andy also points out he won\u2019t make any money from the bout.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not doing it for the money. I\u2019m going to donate the money I earn to charity, but I don\u2019t want to talk too much about that as it will come out closer to the time,\u201d he insists.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not bothered with the money. I never got involved in his contract, so I don\u2019t know anything about him,\u201d<\/p>\n
Andy, who is single, recently took part in the Virgin Media TV series Dinner With The Enemy, in which people from various strands of life were pitted at the same table together.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the show it was amazing. Everyone changed how they look at me, how they treat me,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love Ireland. I\u2019ve always loved Ireland. There were times when I said I begrudge going back to Ireland because everyone sort of didn\u2019t like me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also ended up having a say in where the prize money went, when a card under his seat said he had the final choice in where it went.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a choice whether to give the money to the other people or me take the 100% and obviously I gave the money to the rest of them. Even though they\u2019re my enemies but I think they needed it more than me. Deep down they were good people,\u201d he smiles.<\/p>\n
