North West<\/a>\u00a0has shared a teaser of a new collaborative single with her father\u00a0Kanye West<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 check it out below.<\/p>\n

The 12-year-old daughter of Ye and Kim Kardashian posted the 60-second clip on her Instagram Stories yesterday (January 16), under the title, \u2018Piercing on my hand @ye version\u201d.<\/p>\n

Over a\u00a0dramatic orchestral\u00a0beat that her father has apparently had input into, North raps: \u201cPiercing on my hand, the other holding\u00a0bands \/ No friends, just filter, you wouldn\u2019t understand \/\u00a0Shopping in Japan, that\u2019s where I always stand \/\u00a0Went to school for two days, then I got banned \/ Skipping school, yeah, I do it on the daily.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll my friends are hits, you know I\u2019m not lazy \/ You\u2019re so angry that I\u2019m so mainstream\u201d she continues.\u00a0\u201cI want more piercings and tats \/ I love blue hair, put it in some plaits \/ Put the music to the max, I want a hundred thousand racks.\u201d<\/p>\n

North\u2019s burgeoning music career received a boost when\u00a0she featured on FKA Twigs\u2019 \u2018Childlike Things\u2019 on last year\u2019s \u2018Euxesua\u2019<\/a>, a track that saw North singing in Japanese.\u00a0Twigs said she wanted North on the song as her \u201cenergy is so inspiring\u201d<\/a>, adding: \u201cIt needs someone who has that tenacity, who has that strong point of view that you have when\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a011.\u201d<\/p>\n

The youngster\u00a0performed \u2018I Just Can\u2019t Wait To Be King\u2019 at the live production of \u2018The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl\u2019 in 2024<\/a>, and later that year,\u00a0she announced that she was working on her debut album<\/a>, titled \u2018Elementary School Dropout\u2019,\u00a0a reference to her father\u2019s 2004 record \u2018The College Dropout\u2019. That album has yet to be\u00a0released.<\/p>\n

She also contributed a verse to \u2018Talking\u2019 and \u2018Vultures\u2019,\u00a0tracks from\u00a0Ye\u2019s album \u2018Vultures 1\u2019 with Ty Dolla\u00a0$ign in 2024<\/a>, and\u00a0she joined her father for a live version of the former at an arena show in Paris<\/a>\u00a0that February.<\/p>\n

North also\u00a0dressed up as Japanese metal band BABYMETAL for Halloween last year<\/a>, alongside her friends.<\/p>\n

As for Ye, he is due to release his 12th\u00a0studio album \u2018BULLY\u2019 on January 30, after\u00a0making the surprise announcement at a comedy gig at the Hollywood Improv last month<\/a>. His team\u00a0have\u00a0also recently\u00a0responded to speculation that the album will feature AI usage<\/a>.<\/p>\n
