West Ham are closing in on multiple signings and David Sullivan has stepped in to take control of the most important deal of all.<\/p>\n

Hammers fans could be forgiven for wondering what the unusual feeling is that they are experiencing today as a rare wave of positivity sweeps through the club.<\/p>\n

After a dismal run of 10 games without a win, West Ham<\/a> have now tasted victory two matches in a row.<\/p>\n

The Irons followed up their 2-1 FA Cup third round victory over QPR with a win by the same scoreline over bitter rivals Spurs in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, West Ham are in the FA Cup fourth round, with a real chance of making the last 16 after finally getting a reasonable draw away at Burton.<\/p>\n

Now they have closed the gap on safety to five points with their win at Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Looming transfers add to positive vibes at West Ham<\/p>\n

That victory was made all the more important by the fact none of the bottom five lost over the weekend.<\/p>\n

With a winnable home game up next against Sunderland, there is reason for optimism at West Ham where previously there was none.<\/p>\n

The good vibes continued overnight when El Hadji Malick Diouf won AFCON and will now boost Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a> by returning for the game against the Black Cats.<\/p>\n

Now there is a positivity overland in east London with the club on the brink of more January transfer window<\/a> business.<\/p>\n

West Ham are closing on multiple signings and David Sullivan<\/a> has stepped in on the most important deal of all.<\/p>\n

Last week it was claimed West Ham\u2019s owners<\/a> had already accepted the fate of relegation.<\/p>\n

Well the actions of Sullivan and the Hammers board in the wake of the Tottenham win suggests that is no longer the case.<\/p>\n

There are series of moves in progress that suggest urgency at board level and a desire to accelerate business. <\/p>\n

With the window reaching a critical phase, the intervention points to a shift in approach as the club looks to finalise deals and provide clarity on both incomings and departures.<\/p>\n

Andy Irving has departed the club for Sparta Prague.<\/p>\n

West Ham close on signings and Sullivan steps in on Wilson<\/p>\n

He looks set to be followed out of the door by wantaway Lucas Paqueta<\/a>, with Flamengo said to be close to a \u00a338m agreement with the Hammers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

James Ward-Prowse could follow them out of the door, likely on loan.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile there has been intense speculation that Callum Wilson<\/a> will leave with Premier League, Championship and Saudi clubs all in for the veteran forward.<\/p>\n

The speculation comes after Wilson was told he was not in Nuno\u2019s thoughts as a starting striker.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s despite being West Ham\u2019s second leading scorer so far this season with five goals.<\/p>\n

After scoring the winner as a late sub at Spurs, West Ham fans have been insisting the club simply cannot afford to let Wilson leave.<\/p>\n

That was after amid fresh speculation he could move to Saudi this week.<\/p>\n

Now according to leading Hammers insider Sean Whetstone<\/a>, who counts Sullivan as a close contact at the club, West Ham\u2019s board has insisted that Wilson will stay until the end of the season to give them a chance of avoiding relegation from the Premier League. <\/p>\n

Whetstone suggests Nuno was pressured to bring Wilson back into his squad at Tottenham after leaving him out of late.<\/p>\n

And a club source told Whetstone Wilson was the only \u2018board\u2019 signing of the summer, and that they will refuse to sanction his exit. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe West Ham board feel they need his services for the remainder of the season and will do what is required to keep him in the squad,\u201d Whetstone revealed on X.<\/p>\n

Regardless of any deals West Ham do before the window closes, avoiding losing Wilson could be the most important of the lot.<\/p>\n

Two wingers and playmaker on the way to West Ham?<\/p>\n

And the deadly striker could soon be joined at the club by new players ready to supply him with chances.<\/p>\n

The first through the door in a deal right out of left-field \u2013 quite literally \u2013 looks set to be versatile attacker Kieber Lamadrid of Deportivo La Guaira in Venezuela. <\/p>\n

The left-sided star can play in a variety of positions and is ridiculously skilful with an eye for goal.<\/p>\n

Lamadrid is 22 and was recently called up by his national team and has been coming of age this season, scoring and assisting on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

The deal will be an initial loan with a dirt cheap \u00a31m option to buy according to ExWHUemployee<\/a> on The West Ham Way Patreon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is claimed Lamadrid has been recommended to West Ham by \u201ctrusted\u201d South American agents.<\/p>\n

The Hammers will be hoping the tricky winger can be something of a wild card, unknown quantity to help West Ham avoid relegation during the run-in.<\/p>\n

A far more experienced winger could finally be joining Lamadrid at West Ham soon too.<\/p>\n

Because Hammers News understands a deal to sign Adama Traore<\/a> from Fulham is edging closer now Fulham have their players back from AFCON.<\/p>\n

Hammers News was the first to exclusively reveal West Ham were going to sign Traore for Nuno<\/a> in the days after the head coach arrived in east London.<\/p>\n

A short-term deal, with the option to extend it, is on the cards for Traore, who arguably played some of the best football of his career under Nuno at Wolves.<\/p>\n

Another player who could be on the way to West Ham is Paris FC midfielder Ilan Kebbal.<\/p>\n

Journalist Alan Nixon<\/a> says the Hammers have enquired about the Algerian playmaker, who is keen on the move.<\/p>\n

West Ham see Kebbal as a replacement for Paqueta and he showed his class by setting up the winner against Paris FC\u2019s neighbours PSG at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Nixon claims Paris FC have quoted West Ham just \u00a312m for the 27-year-old, who has seven goals and four assists in 17 games so far this season.<\/p>\n

That is less than a third of the \u00a338m West Ham are rumoured to have agreed with Flamengo for Paqueta.<\/p>\n
