The former Premier League manager was back in London over the weekend, fuelling speculation about his next move amid the growing pressure on Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur<\/p>\n

Former Tottenham<\/a> boss Ange Postecoglou has been spotted back in London, at a time when Thomas Frank <\/a>is under mounting pressure in his role at the club. It now feels like a matter of when, not if, Frank is shown the door at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Dane is under intense scrutiny following a 2-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday afternoon, a result that has left him fighting to save his job in north London. Frank’s situation worsened further last weekend when Tottenham were knocked out of the FA Cup <\/a>by Aston Villa<\/a> in front of their home supporters, extending a worrying run of form.<\/p>\n

While the board has so far remained patient, frustration among fans continues to grow. Chants of ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ have often rung around the stadium.<\/p>\n

“I”ve probably had better times, it’s probably not the best time of course,” Frank said. “But I understand, I’m the man in charge. So the blame will go to me. That’s fair, no problem in that sense. As long as they are backing the players, doing everything they can, to support them and drive them forward, that’s what we do, and we will keep going forward.<\/p>\n

“If you’re not winning enough, we know you will not get enough support from the fans. But when we’re winning, it will change, when we start winning again. Which we will do. I’m not in doubt of that.”<\/p>\n

Frank was appointed Spurs’ head coach in June 2025, succeeding Postecoglou<\/a>. The 60\u2011year\u2011old spent two years in charge before being sacked after a 17th\u2011place Premier League finish and despite ending the club’s 17\u2011year trophy drought by winning the Europa League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou has returned to London and was in attendance at the London Broncos’ game against Widnes at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in Wimbledon. The rugby team later took to Instagram to share some of the well\u2011known faces present, including Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and incoming co\u2011owner Grant Wechsel.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Postecoglou was spotted sitting next to former Australian rugby star Darren Lockyer.<\/p>\n

“Some famous faces in attendance for our round one clash against Widnes yesterday,” London Broncos wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

While a return for Postecoglou is deemed unlikely, his presence in London has inevitably fuelled speculation about what his next move might be.<\/p>\n

After departing Spurs, the Athens\u2011born manager had a brief stint at Nottingham Forest, though his tenure lasted just 39 days – one of the shortest in Premier League history.<\/p>\n
