\n\tPiers Morgan<\/a> is recuperating in a hospital after a recent fall necessitated hip surgery. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe host of the YouTube talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored<\/a> says in a social media post today that he might be conducting the interview show from his London home for a bit.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 60-year-old Morgan shared news of his fall and subsequent surgery in a social media post yesterday. Accompanying a \u201cthumbs up photo\u201d of himself in a hospital bed, Morgan wrote that he recently tripped on a small step inside a London hotel restaurant. \u201cFell like a sack of spuds,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fall resulted in a fractured femur, the break necessitating \u201ca new hip,\u201d he said. Currently recovering in a hospital, Morgan wrote that he\u2019ll be on crutches for six weeks, with \u201cno long-haul flying\u201d for 12 weeks. \u201cNew Year off to a cracking start!,\u201d Morgan wrote, jokingly adding, \u201cI blame Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tToday, Morgan responded to some Good Morning Britain banter in which the show\u2019s presenters jokingly suggested Morgan might have tripped after imbibing. On X, Morgan posted a laughing emoji alongside the message, \u201cTo clarify, ZERO alcohol was involved in the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe also responded to a Metro UK report that suggested Morgan will recover in his \u201clavish London home with \u00a318,000 \u2018man cave\u2019\u2026 \u201c<\/p>\n

\n\tMorgan responded, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ll be \u2018recovering\u2019 in the man cave\u2026 but I might be able to host @PiersUncensored from there for a bit. Working on that now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore the YouTube series, Morgan hosted CNN\u2019s Piers Morgan Live and judged on America\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n
