\n\tFresh from his Cannes-winning directorial debut \u201cUrchin<\/a>,\u201d Harris Dickinson<\/a> \u2014\u00a0currently shooting Sam Mendes\u2019 quartet of biopics about The Beatles \u2014 is expanding his credentials behind the camera. <\/p>\n

\n\tDevisio Pictures, the production company set up by Dickinson and Archie Pearch<\/a>, have boarded \u201cOne of Us,\u201d the upcoming comedy from Pasqual Gutierrez<\/a>, alongside LA-based voice-driven banner Long Holiday. <\/p>\n

\n\tPearch and Dickinson are set to produce for Devisio alongside Laurel Thomson for Long Holiday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne of Us\u201d marks Gutierrez\u2019s second feature following his breakout debut \u201cSerious People,\u201d which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. The genre-bending metafictional comedy, starring Gutierrez and written and directed with Ben Mullinkosson, was also produced by Thomson, marking the first feature from Long Holiday, which she set up in 2024. It was released by Memory and Tribeca Films.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tPlot and casting details for \u201cOne of Us\u201d are currently under wraps, but the film is being described as a \u201cspiritual successor\u201d to \u201cSerious People\u201d\u00a0and an absurd comedy loosely drawn from Gutierrez\u2019s own life. In addition to directing, Gutierrez is once again set to appear on screen, joined by his real-life partner Christine Yuan, their toddler Echo Gutierrez, and an expanded cast. Production is scheduled to shoot this summer.<\/p>\n

\n\tGutierrez is an award-winning filmmaker\u00a0and one half of the Mexican-American directing duo Cliqua, alongside RJ Sanchez. The prolific music-video partnership has collaborated with artists including Bad Bunny, Rosal\u00eda, J Balvin, Madonna, Travis Scott, and The Weeknd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne of Us\u201d marks the second feature to come out of Devisio following the success of \u201cUrchin,\u201d which was written and produced by Dickinson and produced by Pearch. The film premiered in the Un Certain Regard competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it won both the FIPRESCI Prize and the best actor award for Frank Dillane.\u00a0It went on to earn six British Independent Film Award nominations, including best film, a Gotham Award nomination for breakthrough director\u2019 and multiple London Critics\u2019 Circle nominations.\u00a0It made the BAFTA longlist in the outstanding debut by a British writer, director of producer category. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne of Us\u201d will be represented for domestic sales by Christine D\u2019Souza and Julia Nelson, who also handled sales and served as executive producers on \u201cSerious People,\u201d alongside UTA. <\/p>\n
