Radiohead<\/a> have shared Thom Yorke<\/a>\u2019s pre-mix playlist for the band\u2019s European arena tour last year, featuring the likes of Leonard Cohen<\/a>, Aphex Twin<\/a> and David Byrne<\/a> \u2013\u00a0check it out here.<\/p>\n

The frontman\u2019s playlist begins with Radiohead themselves, the track listed as \u2018Seattle Ambient Recordings (Minidisks)\u2019, before appearances from Francois Bayle, Cohen, Faust, Bill Evans, The Corries and Syd Barrett<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Artists as varied as Moondog, Lee Hazlewood, Duke Ellington and Plastikman feature across the playlist, before it ends with Mark Pritchard, Byrne, and Gaelic Psalm Singers.<\/p>\n

\u201cExperience (or relive) the ambience of a European arena while waiting for Radiohead to take the stage \u2013 Thom\u2019s 2025 pre-show mix is now available,\u201d the Oxfordshire band wrote on social media this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Radiohead uploaded the playlist directly to MixCloud and it\u2019s also available on Spotify \u2013 listen here.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Radiohead announced their first tour in seven years in September<\/a>, and from November 4 to December 16 they played 20 shows, including four at The O2 in London. In a glowing five-star review, NME described their first London show as \u201cthe cinematic, arty yin to Oasis\u2019 hedonistic yang\u201d<\/a>\u00a0adding: \u201cWhat a show: a visceral energy, a tasteful spectacle, all delivered with a generosity of spirit, Yorke in full rockstar mode as the band trade places to tend to each corner of the venue. For a band once embarrassed by the notion of \u2018arena rock\u2019, nobody does it better. A new album and another night like this can\u2019t come soon enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the tour, the band shared that their shows would be played in the round<\/a> with them taking a \u201cbusking approach\u201d to the setlist<\/a> each night \u2013 having rehearsed over 65 songs from their back catalogue. Among the songs to feature across the tour were \u2018Just<\/a>\u2019, \u2018Jigsaw Falling Into Place\u2019 and \u2018Nice Dream\u2019, which were all played live for the first time in 16 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Radiohead have not announced any further shows, though drummer Philip Selway<\/a> did say when the European tour was first announced: \u201cFor now, it will just be these ones, but who knows where this will all lead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bassist Colin Greenwood, meanwhile, is heading back out on tour with Nick Cave this summer after filling in for regular Bad Seeds bassist Martyn Casey last year<\/a> due to illness. He played on Cave\u2019s 2024 album \u2018Wild God<\/a>\u2019, too.<\/p>\n

Fans have expressed hope that 2026 will see Radiohead return to the studio, too. The band haven\u2019t released any new music since \u2018A Moon Shaped Pool<\/a>\u2019 in 2016, and in a new interview with The Times<\/a> in October, they addressed whether there are plans in place for them to record and release new music.<\/p>\n

When asked if there will ever be new Radiohead songs, guitarist Jonny Greenwood<\/a> responded: \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n
