Kim Kardashian and her ex, Kanye West, have had a longstanding feud with Taylor Swift since 2016 after The Kardashians star shared an edited version of a private phone call between Taylor and Kanye.<\/p>\n

In 2020, the full version of the call was leaked, proving that Taylor had only approved the concept of her name being mentioned on Kanye\u2019s song, \u201cFamous,\u201d but not the misogynistic nature in which it was used.<\/p>\n

Nearly a decade after the beef was ignited, Kim has seemingly broken her silence on where she stands with Taylor.<\/p>\n

As more people on our social feeds reminisce on the wild year that was 2016, Kim Kardashian<\/a> seems to be looking back on that era of her life, too. We\u2019ll hold your hand while we say this (and maybe pass you some retinol<\/a>, while we\u2019re at it): it\u2019s been 10 years since Kim posted an edited version of Kanye West and Taylor Swift\u2019s infamous \u201cFamous\u201d phone call. Ya know, the one where he asked if he could use her name in the song, where he raps: \u201cI feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.\u201d <\/p>\n

It\u2019s since been revealed that Taylor only approved the idea of using her name in the song… but not the way it was mentioned. And, now, Kim has seemingly broken her silence on their longstanding beef.<\/p>\n

During the January 21 episode of Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian\u2019s Khlo\u00e9 in Wonderland<\/a> podcast, she straight-up asked the SKIMS mogul if she thinks people would \u201cbe surprised\u201d that she listens to Taylor\u2019s music.<\/p>\n

Kim was quick to say that she\u2019s openly been a Taylor fan. \u201cI think I\u2019ve said it,\u201d she shared, seemingly referencing a pre-beef 2009 interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she admitted the most-played song on her iPod was \u201cLove Story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 doubled down, quipping, \u201cI think people would be surprised.\u201d
<\/p>\n

\u201cI have some of her older songs on my playlist,\u201d Kim continued. \u201cI\u2019ve always thought she was, like, a super talented great artist.\u201d<\/p>\n

KoKo then went on to ask Kim if she listens to country music, to which she responded, \u201cI love country music! I\u2019ll always be a Shania Twain girl. I love Carrie Underwood. And Lee Ann Rimes\u2014obsessed.\u201d<\/p>\n

As previously mentioned, Kim gushed about Taylor in 2009 during an interview with ET, where she said, \u201cI love Taylor Swift, I\u2019m the biggest Taylor Swift fan.\u201d At the time, she had freshly joined Twitter (now known as X), adding, \u201cI\u2019m watching her on Twitter, I just signed up on Twitter. I\u2019m watching you, Taylor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, that was in a pre-beef era, and Kim has publicly kept her distance since.<\/p>\n
