Chahal and Mahvash never confirmed their relationship, but she was always seen cheering for him at his matches when he played for the IPL 2025 and had also dropped a selfie with him, to show support. They maintained that they were good friends only, without commenting on their relationship, however, now they are in news again as eagle eyed netizens notice that they no longer follow each other on social media. The unfollowing was first pointed out by celebrity paparazzo Varinder Chawla, who shared the update on Instagram. Soon after, netizens began dissecting the situation.
