Emmerdale\u2019s reigning Queen of mean, Kim Tate<\/a>\u00a0(Claire King<\/a>), doesn\u2019t like many people. She\u2019s hard nosed, uncompromising and, once crossed, becomes the type of enemy that nightmares are made of.<\/p>\n Her trusty horse, Ice, however, always held a special place in her rather chilly heart, and he\u2019s played quite the role in Emmerdale over the years. He carrying Kim to her wedding with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews)<\/a> and also\u2026murdered a rapist?<\/a><\/p>\n Yes, you read that right.<\/p>\n Craig Reed (Ben Addis) was an old friend of Lydia Dingle<\/a>\u00a0(Karen Blick<\/a>), who propositioned her with the idea of an affair. Lydia, loyal to husband Sam Dingle<\/a>\u00a0(James Hooton<\/a>) declined, but Craig, revealing himself to be an utter monster, was unwilling to take no for an answer and raped her.<\/p>\n After Lydia exposed Craig\u2019s hideous crime, he began to torment her further, leading to Sam and Cain Dingle<\/a>\u00a0(Jeff Hordley<\/a>) dishing out some classic Dingle justice, in the form a good ol\u2019 kicking.<\/p>\n With Craig beaten and bleeding in a field, Kim approached atop Ice. As Craig reached out for Ice\u2019s reigns, he reared up and kicked Craig, delivering the fatal blow. Due to some scheming by Kim and Cain, neither of them, nor Ice himself, faced any repercussions for Craig\u2019s death.<\/p>\n \t\t Though Ice\u2019s crime appeared to go unpunished, the soap Gods always demand justice eventually, and after an illicit shoot organised by Sam on Kim\u2019s land to raise some much-needed cash for various repairs on Wishing Well cottage, he got trapped in a snare<\/a>, throwing Kim to the ground and leaving her gravely injured.<\/p>\n In the aftermath, Kim was forced to have Ice put down, his injuries far too great, absolutely breaking her as she said goodbye to one of the only friends she had.<\/p>\n Joe Tate<\/a>\u00a0(Ned Porteous<\/a>) and Kim have had a much better relationship since his return from a life abroad, necessitated by Kim\u2019s desire to have him killed. <\/p>\n Although he came back to steal a kidney<\/a>, he\u2019s since integrated into Kim\u2019s life and looks to help expand her already impressive empire, employing the same devious and underhand tactics as the lady of Home Farm herself often resorts to.<\/p>\n \t\t In a display of affection to his step-grandma, he offers to source another horse from the same gene-pool as Ice. While touched, Kim reminds Joe that Ice is dead, and as much as you want to, you can\u2019t bring people back from the dead\u2026<\/p>\n \u2026which leads Graham Foster<\/a>\u00a0(Andrew Scarborough<\/a>) to materialise from the shadows, to prove her dead wrong.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tDon’t miss a Soaps scoop! He was a highly trained SAS operative. And the way I had always played it, was that he had worked for the government. So he was into espionage and a type of \u2018fixer\u2019 for the government. So used to smoke and mirrors.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018Graham has been highly trained to do certain things like to hold one\u2019s breath when diving, to remain motionless when being trained as a sniper, etc etc. So there are the skills there. Plus he is very highly connected with some of the \u201cinstitutions\u201d like the government, high ranking police. So I always presumed that if anybody could come back from the dead \u2013 he could.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018And don\u2019t forget Graham did actually arrange the false death of Joe. Proving he\u2019s in the art of smoke and mirrors, He is in that dark, murky world.
