Manchester United are preparing to take on Premier League leaders Arsenal this weekend, with Michael Carrick drafting another youngster into first-team training ahead of the game.<\/p>\n

Michael Carrick<\/a> is set for part two of the hardest start imaginable to his spell as Manchester United<\/a> head coach, taking on Arsenal at the Emirates.<\/p>\n

This comes one week removed from the incredible 2-0 derby day win over City<\/a>, which has fans believing Carrick might be the one.<\/p>\n

However, this is an even bigger challenge, and one that will either confirm that United are right in the top four race or bring fans back to reality.<\/p>\n

There will have been plenty of focus on how to beat Mikel Arteta this week in training, and now a youngster has been spotted in first-team training helping out ahead of the game.<\/p>\n

Elyh Harrison takes part in Manchester United senior training ahead of Arsenal clash<\/p>\n

Last week, in the build-up to the derby, Carrick had Habeeb Ogunneye in training<\/a> with the first team, fresh off being recalled from his loan at Newport County.<\/p>\n

Now, Elyh Harrison<\/a> has had a similar experience.<\/p>\n

Harrison was recalled from loan at Shrewsbury<\/a> recently and has stepped back into the first-team set-up, providing training depth in the goalkeeping department.<\/p>\n

It was Thursday\u2019s training session in which Harrison could be spotted in the background of some X<\/a> images United posted, clearly in goal.<\/p>\n

Harrison was in this same situation 12 months ago<\/a>, recalled from loan at Chester, and then involved in the first team as a fourth-choice goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

So the chances of him getting any real chance in the remaining 16 games this season are slim.<\/p>\n

Ineos needs to figure out Harrison\u2019s development and loans<\/p>\n

Harrison\u2019s time at Shrewsbury was not a loan worth remembering.<\/p>\n

Despite having a really good debut<\/a>, which ended in praise from the manager, he played very little over the past few months.<\/p>\n

After not playing since September, Harrison conceded six against Wolves in the FA Cup<\/a>, which was his final contribution.<\/p>\n

Now back at Carrington, United and Ineos need to figure out what level Harrison is at and plan where he should be sent on loan next.<\/p>\n

Given his struggle for games this season, perhaps Harrison needs to take a step backwards in order to take one forward, which could be a loan to the National League.<\/p>\n
