With just two first-team additions made and having failed to win any of their four pre-season friendlies, Vitor Pereira<\/a> has expressed signs of frustration in recent weeks.<\/p>\n While several positions need strengthening, Wolves are in particular need of new wing-backs with Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri having left Molineux.<\/p>\n On Thursday night, it was claimed that the issue on the left was close to being resolved with Wolves having agreed a deal<\/a> for AZ Alkmaar’s David Moller Wolfe<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to Orazio Accomando, who was commenting on X<\/a>, Wolves are now aiming to bring in a fresh face for the right-hand side of the pitch.<\/p>\n Wolves fighting Serie A champions for Sanchez?<\/p>\n The report suggests that Wolves have made direct contact with their Sevilla counterparts in an effort to negotiate a deal for Sanchez.<\/p>\n Wolves are allegedly prepared to pay in the region of\u00a0\u20ac17m (\u00a314.74m) to win the race for the 21-year-old, but they face competition from Napoli<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last season’s Serie A champions are said to have a “preliminary agreement” in place but are yet to conclude the transfer.<\/p>\n Sanchez has come through the Sevilla academy ranks to contribute six goals and eight assists from 74 appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n During 2024-25, four strikes and four assists came from 32 games in La Liga, Sanchez being used as a right-back, centre-midfielder, right-winger and support-striker respectively.<\/p>\n Such versatility may appeal to Wolves, but Sanchez would presumably be viewed as a wing-back in Pereira’s 3-4-2-1 formation if he moves to the West Midlands.<\/p>\n Wolves risking a repeat disappointment<\/p>\n Wolves have already missed out to a European giant in the form of Atletico Madrid when attempting to sign Marc Pubill.<\/p>\n That could plausibly be a similar case here if Napoli get their way, but Sanchez knows that he will have more chance of first-team football at Molineux.<\/p>\n![\"Sevilla's](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/24\/36\/juanlu-sanchez.jpg\"\/)
