Arne Slot hopeful Joe Gomez can go again<\/p>\n
Likely to be missing Konate and Leoni, it will be a relief for Liverpool fans to hear that Gomez came through Wednesday\u2019s 90-minute showing unscathed.<\/p>\n
Slot was asked specifically about his No. 2 as he faced the press on Friday and confirmed that while it is a tight turnaround for someone who has not played a lot of football, Gomez should be available to face Bournemouth.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s shown he\u2019s one of the few players maybe that doesn\u2019t have to play a lot of games and still play at a high level. So, that is very positive,\u201d said the Dutchman.<\/p>\n
\u201cTwo days\u2019 turnaround, so let\u2019s see how he feels today and if he\u2019s able to start Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n
