Rachel and Stephen have won the fourth series of The Traitors<\/a>. They stuck to their word by not voting for each other at the roundtable, banishing Jack, Faraaz, and Jade with ease in the final episode.<\/p>\n

Jack was the last player to be banished, leaving two Traitors to split the final prize pot of \u00a395,750, with each taking home \u00a347,875. It’s the first time two Traitors have ever won the UK edition of the reality show, and Rachel is the first female Traitor to win the game here.<\/p>\n

Faraaz was banished in the endgame, making a Faithful victory impossible, as Stephen and Rachel faced Jack in the final three. The game ends when two players are left, and if any Traitors remain, they win the money.<\/p>\n

Jade was banished earlier in the episode at the final roundtable before the endgame.<\/p>\n

Host Claudia Winkleman appeared emotional as she said: “Two traitors but totally faithful to each other. You did it. You absolutely did it.”<\/p>\n

As they celebrated their win, Stephen told Rachel: “I\u2019ll be honest, I had moments where I was doubting what I was going to do tonight, but I couldn\u2019t go back on my word to you.<\/p>\n

“It just wasn\u2019t worth the money and I couldn\u2019t have walked out of here by lying to you.”<\/p>\n

He added: “I\u2019m just a wee boy from the Isle of Lewis, this kind of stuff doesn\u2019t really happen to me.<\/p>\n

“This isn\u2019t the kind of money that me and my family deal with. It\u2019s going to make such a difference. And I just know they\u2019re going to be so proud.<\/p>\n

Rachel said: “It\u2019s the best feeling in the world. I really thought it was such a big achievement to be the first female traitor to make it to the final.<\/p>\n

“And then to win. I think it will be a very long time until you get the smile off my face.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m really looking forward to not having to lie.<\/p>\n

“That\u2019s a lot, that\u2019s a lot of lying, so I\u2019m looking forward to just breathing and just making the nicest memories with my mom that I will remember forever.”<\/p>\n

It’s taken The Traitors less than three years since its launch on UK television to become the nation\u2019s most-watched programme<\/a>, attracting some of the highest ratings of the decade so far.<\/p>\n
