Liverpool boss Arne Slot has hinted he would prefer to keep Andy Robertson at the club amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>. The left-back is a player of interest to Spurs while the January transfer window nears its conclusion.<\/p>\n Tottenham<\/a> have until February 2 to complete their transfer business<\/a> for the window, and it remains to be seen if Robertson will make the move to north London before the deadline.<\/p>\n Reports emerged on Friday<\/a> claiming Tottenham have an interest in signing Robertson from Liverpool<\/p>\n Robertson was named on the bench by Slot for Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League<\/a> on Saturday evening – but did replace Milos Kerkez at the half-time break and played the entirety of the second half.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Thomas Frank explains fresh Cristian Romero injury concern after Tottenham heroics at Burnley<\/a>READ MORE: Tottenham player ratings vs Burnley – Romero and Odobert impact but Xavi and Gallagher struggle<\/a><\/p>\n Slot was asked about Robertson’s future at Liverpool amid interest from Tottenham, with the Reds’ head coach hinting that he wants to keep the left-back at Anfield moving forward.<\/p>\n “I think I need all of my players,” Slot told Sky Sports.<\/p>\n “I thought, let’s bring Robbo in at half-time to make sure Milos [Kerkez] stays available for the rest of the season, because there are a lot of games to be played with the players that are available.<\/p>\n “I have to manage that as well because the last thing we need right now is another injury.”<\/p>\n
