{"id":390047,"date":"2026-01-25T17:54:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T17:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/390047\/"},"modified":"2026-01-25T17:54:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T17:54:14","slug":"sm-entertainment-opens-sm-universe-singapore-its-first-k-pop-training-academy-outside-south-korea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/390047\/","title":{"rendered":"SM Entertainment opens SM Universe Singapore, its first K-pop training academy outside South Korea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SM Entertainment, the South Korean entertainment giant behind global acts like Aespa, NCT and Riize, officially opened its first K-pop training academy in Southeast Asia on Saturday (Jan 24).<\/p>\n<p>SM Universe Singapore, located at *SCAPE along Orchard Road, is also the company&#8217;s first such venture outside South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Since its <a href=\"https:\/\/cnalifestyle.channelnewsasia.com\/entertainment\/sm-universe-singapore-k-pop-training-academy-scape-461046\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">soft launch<\/a> in June 2025, SM Universe Singapore has introduced more than 70 programmes and trained over 600 students from more than 10 countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Its training covers vocals, dance, performance and production.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in January, the training academy also launched its flagship professional training programme.
