The Nasdaq slipped 2.2% this week, the worst performance since a 2.5% loss that week in May.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_15-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> For the Dow Jones Industrial Average, you have to go back four months for a worse performance, to the week when President Donald Trump unveiled the reciprocal tariffs that are still hanging over markets. The Dow fell 3.1% this week, the biggest decline since a 7.9% loss the week of March 31-April 4.\n<\/p>\n<p>What Analysts Think of Palantir Stock Ahead of Earnings Report<\/p>\n<p>59 minutes ago<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_16-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Palantir Technologies (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/markets\/quote?tvwidgetsymbol=PLTR\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PLTR<\/a>) is scheduled to report second-quarter results after the closing bell Monday, with analysts\u00a0divided on one of 2025&#8217;s hottest stocks.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_17-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Shares of Palantir have more than doubled in price this year, making the stock the biggest gainer in the S&amp;P 500, as the company&#8217;s AI software has become a mainstay, particularly within\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/palantir-is-surging-the-stock-leads-nasdaq-gains-this-year-as-federal-work-expands-11745485\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">U.S. government<\/a>\u00a0agencies.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> However, Wall Street largely has been wary of the meteoric rise. The consensus price target among analysts tracked by Visible Alpha is just over $107\u2014roughly 30% lower than Palantir&#8217;s Friday close above $154.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_19-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Just two out of 12 analysts have a &#8220;buy&#8221; or equivalent rating for Palantir stock, alongside seven &#8220;hold&#8221; ratings and three &#8220;sell&#8221; recommendations, according to Visible Alpha data. One such bull is Wedbush Securities, which last month\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/why-wall-street-could-be-underestimating-palantir-11769573\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">lifted its Palantir price target<\/a>\u00a0to $160. In the first quarter, it was looking for operating cash flow of $400 million to $500 million, which already was a decline from its prior guidance of $450 million and $500 million.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_44-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> In the second quarter, Newell Brands reported adjusted EPS of $0.24 on revenue that fell 5% year-over-year to $1.94 billion.
