“I am disappointed to miss the last races of the season, but it is what it is,” Agostinacchio said in an official statement<\/a> shared by the team. “We decided to stop my season to recover. It\u2019s for the best. I\u2019m proud of my season. I had some ups and downs, but overall, I think we can say it went pretty well with Euros and Namur. The last weeks were frustrating, because I just couldn\u2019t push the power on the pedals.”Once recovered, the Italian will resume training to prepare for his first professional road season with EF Education-EasyPost<\/a>. His schedule is still unknown, and he admits that he is entering this new phase with an open mind regarding his expectations.<\/p>\n “It is going to be pretty special,” Agostinacchio commented. “I don\u2019t know what to expect from myself and I don\u2019t know what to expect from the other riders in the peloton.
